Are you good at fixing things? We need your help on March 25, 2017!
What is a Repair Café?
Repair Cafés are free gatherings and they are all about repairing things – together. Visitors bring their broken items to the Repair Café where they will get help fixing it from Fixers like you. More importantly, they will learn how to fix things themselves. Repair Café aims to reduce the waste we send to landfill or incinerate, and to change society’s throw away mindset.
What is a Fixer?
A Fixer is a volunteer who is skilled at repairing household items such as small appliances, computers or clothing. We need your help to fix, teach, explain, coach, share, collaborate, apprentice, enjoy! At the Repair Café we are looking for Fixers to repair computers, electronics, small appliances, jewelry, clothing, books and more, whether you have tools or not.
